FAQFrequently asked questions
| Do we have to replace our existing PLC? | No. The usual arrangement is to leave the existing PLC in place and attach an EdgeIO controller or gateway in parallel, simply to collect the data. |
|---|---|
| We are not sure which model to choose. | Tell us three things — the type of equipment, the point count (DI/DO/AI/AO) and the upstream system — and we will reply with two or three candidates and an outline configuration. |
| What is the lead time? | Models held in stock in Korea ship immediately; otherwise it normally takes 2 to 4 weeks after the specification is confirmed. This varies depending on quantity and timing, so we confirm it and reply when you enquire. |
| What is the warranty period? | One year from the date of purchase. Material and quality defects within that period are repaired free of charge; failures caused by user damage or misuse are excluded. ACUSYS handles intake and processing in Korea. |
| Are custom I/O configurations possible? | Yes. Most cases are covered by combining X and Y series boards; beyond that range, a dedicated board is produced through the manufacturer's OEM/ODM line. |
